Instructions

  1. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly under cool running water, removing any dirt or wax. If desired, peel them for a slightly milder flavor.
  2. Dice the cucumbers into bite-sized pieces, enjoying the snap as you cut. Transfer them to your large mixing bowl.
  3. Add halved cherry tomatoes, finely chopped red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl.
  4. Pour the creamy ranch dressing over the mixture. Use a spatula or tongs to gently toss the ingredients.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste. If using, sprinkle in the fresh dill and mix again.
