- 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Brew coffee and let it cool slightly, or prepare instant coffee.
- In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour in the cooled coffee and mix until incorporated.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing gently.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
