  • 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Brew coffee and let it cool slightly, or prepare instant coffee.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour in the cooled coffee and mix until incorporated.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing gently.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
