Description

Crispy and indulgent, these Cheesy Seafood Tortilla Bombs are stuffed with a luscious blend of shrimp, crab, and cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 medium flour tortillas
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., Monterey Jack or Cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded cheese, softened cream cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Take a medium flour tortilla and place a generous spoonful of the seafood mixture in the center.
  3. Fold the tortilla over the filling, pressing gently to form a sealed bomb.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
  5. Gently place the folded tortilla bombs into the oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the bombs from the skillet and let them rest on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the filling a day in advance and store it in the fridge. You can also assemble the bombs and refrigerate until ready to fry.
