- 6 medium flour tortillas
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., Monterey Jack or Cheddar)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded cheese, softened cream cheese, green onions, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Take a medium flour tortilla and place a generous spoonful of the seafood mixture in the center.
- Fold the tortilla over the filling, pressing gently to form a sealed bomb.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
- Gently place the folded tortilla bombs into the oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the bombs from the skillet and let them rest on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare the filling a day in advance and store it in the fridge. You can also assemble the bombs and refrigerate until ready to fry.
