- 1 package of ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent and aromatic, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Mix in the marinara sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Layer half of the ravioli in a baking dish, followed by half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers with remaining ravioli, meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, and top with grated Parmesan.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can prepare the dish in advance and store it in the refrigerator before baking. For a vegetarian option, swap the beef with lentils or sautéed vegetables.
