Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup green onions
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 jalapeño, seeded (optional)
Instructions
- Marinade the chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Blend until well mixed and coat the chicken breasts. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the grill, cooking for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Make the creamy green sauce: In a blender, combine cilantro, green onions, mayonnaise, lime juice, and jalapeño (if using). Blend to a smooth consistency.
- Serve and enjoy: Plate the grilled chicken, drizzling the green sauce over the top, and serve with extra sauce on the side.
Notes
For best results, marinate the chicken overnight to enhance flavor. Can be cooked in an air fryer or oven if a grill is unavailable.
