Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and lightly flour your cake pans.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, blending in completely after each addition.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Whisk in the culinary lavender.
- Add the dry mixture to the creamed butter mixture, alternating with the milk and lemon zest and juice. Mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into your prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
