Description

A savory and sweet dish featuring tender chicken glazed in honey garlic sauce, served over fluffy orzo and vibrant roasted broccoli.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) Chicken breast or thighs, cubed
  • 1 cup Orzo pasta
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 head Broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Feta cheese, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss the broccoli florets with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for about 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the chicken in a skillet with remaining olive oil for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic, honey, and soy sauce to the chicken and stir until it thickens into a glaze.
  4. Boil chicken broth in a saucepan and add the orzo. Simmer for 8-10 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  5. Plate the orzo, top with chicken, broccoli, and sprinkle with feta cheese.

Notes

For additional flavor, marinate the chicken in honey, soy sauce, and garlic a day in advance. Customize with your favorite vegetables.
