Delicious Hawaiian BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches that are tender, flavorful, and perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 3–4 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 cup Hawaiian BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Hamburger buns
- Coleslaw (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and pour the sauce mixture over it.
- Cover the pan with foil and bake for 4-5 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
- Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before shredding it with two forks.
- Mix the shredded pork with the remaining sauce in the pan.
- Serve the pulled pork on hamburger buns and top with coleslaw if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the pork shoulder overnight in the sauce.
- This recipe can also be made in a slow cooker on low for 8 hours.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the BBQ sauce to your taste.
