Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil or vegan butter
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the apples by tossing them with cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract.
  3. Make the topping by mixing gluten-free oats, almond flour, brown sugar, and melted coconut oil.
  4. Assemble the crisp by sprinkling the oat mixture over the apples.
  5. Add maple syrup if desired.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
