Description

Indulge in this creamy salmon pasta that’s a perfect blend of silky textures, vibrant flavors, and nourishing ingredients, offering a delightful culinary escape.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, tossing it with a drizzle of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant—about 30 seconds.
  3. Cook Salmon: Add the salmon fillets, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside, letting it cool slightly before flaking it into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Make the Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the fresh spinach, cooking until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine Salmon and Season: Gently fold the flaked salmon back into the pan, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta directly into the sauce, tossing everything together until the pasta is well-coated.
  7. Serve and Garnish: Scoop the pasta onto plates and finish with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan and fresh herbs if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, ensure the garlic doesn’t burn and adjust seasoning throughout cooking.
