Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side, and remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds.
  4. Create the sauce by adding chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up bits from the skillet.
  5. Whisk in heavy cream, lemon zest, thyme, and rosemary; simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  6. Finish by returning chicken to the sauce, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider air-frying the chicken and adjust the cooking time. You can prep the sauce a day ahead and store it in the refrigerator.
