Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts, sliced horizontally into cutlets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Red pepper flakes, to taste
- Frozen French fries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven or air fryer according to the frozen fry package instructions (about 200°C/400°F).
- Cook the fries for about 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Pat the chicken cutlets dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and lower the heat. Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet.
- Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in chicken broth or white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let it simmer and reduce by half.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it thicken before adding Parmesan cheese.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
- Serve with fries, garnished with parsley and red pepper flakes.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. You can also use an air fryer for crispier fries without extra oil.
