Ingredients

- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- Sour cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with the diced onion and minced garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook according to package instructions.
- Spread a layer of refried beans on one tortilla, then top with half the meat mixture, salsa, and cheese.
- Place the second tortilla on top and repeat the layers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, slice into wedges, and serve with sour cream.
Notes
Prepare the beef and beans a day in advance; assemble and bake when ready. Experiment with toppings and spices to customize your pizza.
