Description

A delightful fusion of taco and pizza, featuring seasoned beef, creamy refried beans, and melty cheese on crispy tortillas.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • Sour cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with the diced onion and minced garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook according to package instructions.
  4. Spread a layer of refried beans on one tortilla, then top with half the meat mixture, salsa, and cheese.
  5. Place the second tortilla on top and repeat the layers.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven, slice into wedges, and serve with sour cream.

Notes

Prepare the beef and beans a day in advance; assemble and bake when ready. Experiment with toppings and spices to customize your pizza.
