- 2 lbs pork spareribs
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl: soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, five-spice powder, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare the ribs in a roasting pan, coat each rib with the sauce mixture using a basting brush.
- Bake covered with aluminum foil for 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Caramelize by removing the foil, increasing oven temperature to 400°F (200°C), and baking uncovered for 15-20 minutes.
- Rest the ribs for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
