Description

Delicious and zesty Chili Lime Chicken marinated in lime juice, chili powder, and garlic powder, perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine fresh lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until smooth.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Coat the chicken breasts in the marinade, cover the bowl, and let soak for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
  3. Preheat Your Cooking Space: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Grill the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Bake the Chicken: Alternatively, place chicken in a lightly greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Serve It Up: Let the chicken rest, then slice and serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or tacos.

Notes

For an added flavor kick, consider marinating overnight. Serve alongside a fresh salad or in tortillas.
