Description

Hearty steak rolls filled with melted mozzarella, aromatic garlic, and fresh herbs, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lay the flank steak flat on a cutting board and pound it to about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Mix the mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and parsley in a bowl.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the steak, leaving a border.
  5. Roll the steak tightly from one end into a log.
  6. Secure the roll with twine or toothpicks.
  7. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the rolls on all sides until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the rolls to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Let the rolls rest before slicing and serve warm.
