- 1 pound flank steak
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay the flank steak flat on a cutting board and pound it to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Mix the mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and parsley in a bowl.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the steak, leaving a border.
- Roll the steak tightly from one end into a log.
- Secure the roll with twine or toothpicks.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the rolls on all sides until golden brown.
- Transfer the rolls to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let the rolls rest before slicing and serve warm.
