  • Author: Sophie

Description

These Carrot & Apple Pup Muffins are a simple, wholesome way to spoil your furry best friend with a homemade treat made from real, dog-safe ingredients — because they deserve something special too.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • ½ cup finely grated carrot
  • ½ cup finely grated apple (seeds and core removed)
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 23 tablespoons water, if needed

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease or line a 12-cup mini muffin pan.
  • Whisk together the egg, peanut butter, applesauce, and melted coconut oil in a large bowl.
  • Fold in the grated carrot and grated apple.
  • Add the oat flour and baking powder, mixing until a thick batter forms. Add water if needed to adjust consistency.
  • Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, until the tops are firm and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the muffins cool completely before serving.

  • Top with a small dollop of plain Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of grated carrot, if desired.
