  • Author: Sophie

Description

These homemade Beef & Pumpkin Dog Meatballs are soft, savory, and easy to make! Made with simple dog-friendly ingredients, they’re great as an occasional treat or training reward.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
  • ½ cup plain pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup oat flour

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Add the ground beef, pumpkin puree, egg, and oat flour to a large bowl.
  • Mix until everything is evenly combined.
  • Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized meatballs.
  • Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked.
  • Let the meatballs cool completely before serving.

  • Serve as an occasional treat or break them into smaller pieces for training.

Notes

Use 100% plain pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling. Do not add salt, garlic, onion, or seasoning. Ground beef should reach 160°F (71°C) internally. Treats should be given in moderation and should not replace a complete and balanced diet.
