- 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin, sliced thinly)
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1-inch ginger (grated)
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the beef: In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Cook the marinated beef for about 3-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove beef from the pan.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stir for about 30 seconds.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and beef broth, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the beef with the broccoli, add oyster sauce, and stir until everything is nicely coated. Serve hot over rice.
Notes
Marinate the beef in advance for extra flavor. Use an air fryer for quicker cooking if desired.
