Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the warm melted butter.
- Mix in sugar, followed by the egg and vanilla extract.
- Add baking soda and salt, stirring until evenly distributed.
- Incorporate the flour gradually, folding gently to avoid overmixing.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the muffins in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
