Description

Ingredients

  • 4 small boneless (skinless) chicken breasts (about 150170 g each / 56 oz)
  • 8 slices bacon (thin or regular cut)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Prepare your baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
  3. Season the chicken by mixing with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt until fully coated.
  4. Add the grated Parmesan, pressing it onto all sides of the chicken.
  5. Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, tucking the ends underneath.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Optional – Crisp the bacon by broiling for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.
  8. Rest for 3–5 minutes before serving, and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider turkey bacon. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
