- 4 small boneless (skinless) chicken breasts (about 150–170 g each / 5–6 oz)
- 8 slices bacon (thin or regular cut)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Prepare your baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
- Season the chicken by mixing with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt until fully coated.
- Add the grated Parmesan, pressing it onto all sides of the chicken.
- Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, tucking the ends underneath.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Optional – Crisp the bacon by broiling for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.
- Rest for 3–5 minutes before serving, and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
For a lighter option, consider turkey bacon. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
