Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional for thickening)
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the crockpot.
  2. Mix together the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir it in during the last 30 minutes.
  6. Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce using two forks.
  7. Serve over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
