- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, plant-based milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cauliflower for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the buffalo sauce with melted vegan butter.
- Once the cauliflower is done baking, remove it from the oven and toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until well coated.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can air fry the cauliflower instead of baking.
- Adjust the level of spiciness by using more or less buffalo sauce.
- These bites can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
