A delicious and cheesy baked ziti dish featuring a blend of three cheeses and a creamy garlic ricotta topping.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked ziti, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, and half of the parmesan. Mix well.
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic with olive oil, then add to the pasta mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
- Feel free to substitute the cheeses based on your preference.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
