- 2–3 Thai bird’s eye chilies, chopped (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and chopped chilies, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the ground chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar, mixing well.
- Add the bell pepper if using, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh Thai basil leaves until wilted.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
