A delicious recipe for Maui-style Teriyaki Beef Short Ribs, perfect for a flavorful feast.

- 3 lbs beef short ribs
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Place the beef short ribs in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the ribs from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add pineapple juice to the marinade.
- Serve with steamed rice and grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
- Adjust the sweetness of the marinade by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste.
