- 2 ribeye steaks
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over high heat until very hot.
- Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, add the butter, garlic, and parsley to the skillet.
- Once the butter is melted, spoon it over the steaks to baste them.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
