Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour the peach mixture over the batter, do not stir.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
