S’mores Sushi is a fun and creative twist on the classic campfire treat, combining the flavors of s’mores with sushi-style presentation.

- 1 cup sushi rice
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 4 sheets of nori (seaweed)
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rinsed rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until the water is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar, rice vinegar, and salt until dissolved, then fold into the cooked rice.
- Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat.
- Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
- Place marshmallows and chocolate chips in a line across the center of the rice.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the chocolate and marshmallows.
- Roll the sushi tightly using the mat, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
Notes
- For a fun variation, try adding peanut butter or fruit.
- Make sure to wet your hands when handling the sushi rice to prevent sticking.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
