Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into squares.
  3. Whisk together the eggs in a bowl.
  4. Stir in the cooked, crumbled sausage and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  6. Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with a beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
