Description
Delicious salted caramel snickerdoodle cheesecake bars that combine the flavors of snickerdoodle cookies and creamy cheesecake, topped with a rich salted caramel sauce.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
- Extra caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Press half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pressed dough in the baking dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining dough over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool, then drizzle with salted caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
- Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
