Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1 can of salmon, drained
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the drained salmon with mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the salmon mixture and cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
- Cook until the bread is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
