- 3 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 hamburger buns
- Coleslaw (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the pork in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 4-5 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
- Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Shred the pork using two forks and mix it with barbecue sauce.
- Serve the pulled pork on hamburger buns with coleslaw if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the pork shoulder overnight with the spice rub.
- Feel free to use your favorite barbecue sauce.
- Leftover pulled pork can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
