- 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly.
- Spread the peach mixture in a baking dish and top with the crumbly mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- While the crisp is baking, whip the heavy cream and maple syrup together until soft peaks form.
- Serve the peach crisp warm with a drizzle of maple cream on top.
Notes
- For a twist, add nuts to the topping for extra crunch.
- Can substitute fresh peaches with canned peaches if necessary.
