Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well blended.
- Add the peppermint extract and mix until fully incorporated.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top of the chocolate-coated truffles.
- Allow the truffles to set in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes before serving.
