- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup cooked sausage or ham, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Gravy for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a large mixing bowl until frothy.
- Grease your baking dish generously and spread the croissant pieces evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the diced sausage or ham, chopped onions, and bell peppers over the croissants.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers to soak the croissants thoroughly.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) the next morning. Remove the plastic wrap and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until set and golden brown.
- Serve warm with drizzled gravy if desired.
