- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned.
- Add the taco seasoning and follow package instructions.
- Arrange the taco shells on a baking sheet.
- Fill each taco shell with the meat mixture and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the shells are crispy.
- Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and jalapeños if desired.
