Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup heavy whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pre-made cookie pie crust
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the orange Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
  2. Add in 1 cup of cold water and stir well to cool the mixture.
  3. Beat 1/2 cup of softened cream cheese in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually blend in 1 cup of heavy whipped cream until silky and fluffy.
  5. Fold the Jello mixture into the cream mixture gently to retain volume.
  6. Pour the mixture into the cookie pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes or until fully set.
  8. Top the pie with whipped cream and orange zest just before serving.
