- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb steak, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the sliced steak and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the pasta and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until pasta is cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
- Return the steak to the pot and mix well.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute the steak with chicken or shrimp.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
