- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mix the mashed bananas and melted butter together until fully combined.
- Stir in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Drop a spoonful of Nutella on top of each muffin and swirl it into the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider substituting sugar with honey or using gluten-free flour.
