Ingredients

- 12 oz mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut mozzarella cheese into sticks.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Dip each cheese stick in flour, then egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Freeze the breaded cheese sticks for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the cheese sticks in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cayenne pepper to the breadcrumbs.
- Make sure the oil is hot enough to prevent the cheese from leaking out.
- These can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
