Ingredients
- tortilla chips – 1 bag
- shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack) – 2 cups
- cooked ground beef or shredded chicken – 1 cup
- black beans – 1 can, drained and rinsed
- jalapeños – 1/2 cup, sliced
- diced tomatoes – 1 cup
- sour cream – 1 cup
- guacamole – 1 cup
- green onions – 1/4 cup, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread a layer of tortilla chips on a large baking sheet.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the chips.
- Add the cooked ground beef or shredded chicken evenly over the cheese.
- Layer the black beans, jalapeños, and diced tomatoes on top.
- Finish with the remaining cheese on top of all the ingredients.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, guacamole, and chopped green onions before serving.
