Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture for about 15-20 minutes.
- Cut the tofu into even cubes of 1-inch pieces.
- Combine lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Spread the marinated tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway for even browning.
- Remove from oven, garnish with herbs, and serve hot.
Notes
Marinate overnight for enhanced flavor. Can also be cooked in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes.
