Description

A quick and delightful dish featuring tender cod fillets enveloped in a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon & zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the garlic in the melted butter for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the lemon juice and zest, blending the flavors.
  5. Prepare the cod fillets in a baking dish, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the lemon garlic butter over the cod.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cod flakes easily.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can prepare the lemon garlic butter in advance and store it in the fridge. Consider using an air fryer for a quicker cooking method.
