Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, for sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Take a lasagna noodle, spread the cheese mixture on it, and roll it up tightly.
  6. Place the roll-up seam side down in the baking dish.
  7. Repeat with remaining noodles and cheese mixture.
  8. Pour the heavy cream and remaining marinara sauce over the roll-ups.
  9. Sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
