- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the diced onion and minced garlic until the meat is cooked through.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer the beef mixture and pour the egg mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
