- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
- Banana leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Rub the pork shoulder with Hawaiian sea salt and liquid smoke.
- If using, wrap the pork in banana leaves for added flavor.
- Place the pork in a roasting pan and cover tightly with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 6-8 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before shredding.
- Serve with rice and your favorite Hawaiian sides.
