Ingredients

  • 34 flavors of Jello gelatin powder (e.g., strawberry, lime, grape)
  • Additional sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and beat until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until a soft dough forms.
  6. Divide the dough and knead in 1-2 tablespoons of Jello to each portion until evenly colored.
  7. Chill the dough for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Roll into balls, coat in sugar, and slightly flatten each ball.
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are set and tops begin to crack.
  10. Cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
