Description

Delightfully spicy and creamy, these Jalapeño Crescent Rolls are wrapped in flaky pastry and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or pepper jack)
  • 12 jalapeños, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the shredded cheese, diced jalapeños, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough towards the point, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops for a golden finish if desired.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the filling a day ahead; just store it in the fridge. These rolls can also be cooked in an air fryer at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes.
