Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine honey, apple cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and minced garlic.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to simmer.

  5. Transfer the beets and the pickling liquid to a jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
